The Model 720 Diesel Tractor
Farmer Jerry says
“The 720 was a powerhouse in the two-cylinder era. With the wide front, she rode a bit steadier on the hills. A beautiful piece of green and yellow machinery.”

- Original 1996 Precision Classics release
The John Deere 720 was the flagship of the final two-cylinder tractor generation, built from 1956 to 1958 and producing around 59 belt horsepower in diesel form. As the last major expression of John Deere's two-cylinder design philosophy before the 1960 New Generation announcement, the 720 diesel is one of the most sought-after collectibles in the line. This 1996 Precision Classics 1:16 replica captures the wide front configuration, styled sheet metal, and the hallmark "Johnny Popper" engine.
