The John Deere 730 diesel is the final chapter of the two-cylinder era, produced from 1958 to 1961, with the last unit built months after John Deere shocked the industry with the four- and six-cylinder New Generation tractors in August 1960. Producing around 59 belt horsepower, the 730 was one of the last and most refined two-cylinder John Deeres ever built.
