The John Deere 730 diesel is the final chapter of the two-cylinder era, produced from 1958 to 1960, the last year before John Deere shocked the industry with the four- and six-cylinder New Generation tractors. Producing around 59 belt horsepower, the 730 was the most powerful two-cylinder John Deere ever built. This 1998 Precision Classics 1:16 replica captures the distinctive styled hood and the final refinement of a design lineage stretching back to the original Model D of 1923.
