About Farm Diecast

Who built this

Farm Diecast started as a way to catalog my late father's collection of John Deere scale-model tractors. He was a farmer who began the collection by giving four models, one for each of his sons. After he passed, I wanted to build something useful for collectors like him.

It is an independent project, built by a collector, for collectors.

What this is

A catalog of die-cast farm toy models with secondary-market prices. Browse a brand's full production run, see what each model is worth, and find active listings in one place.

The archive covers:

• ERTL Precision Classics: 25 numbered John Deere models, 1990–2004
• ERTL Precision Elite: John Deere tractors, 2011–2017
• ERTL Precision Series: Case IH tractors and implements, 1991–2004
• ERTL Precision Heritage: John Deere and International Harvester sets, 2022–2024
• National Farm Toy Show exclusives, one for every show year since 1978

Brands include John Deere, Case IH, International Harvester, Allis-Chalmers, Massey Ferguson, Ford, New Holland, Oliver, and Versatile. Scales run from 1:16 to 1:64. Each model record lists manufacturer, scale, year, series number, and specs, plus UPC and stock number where the model has them.

How the data works

Models are researched against manufacturer records, series documentation, and collector references. Prices come from eBay's official API, not scraping. Each listing is matched to a model by UPC or stock number where it has one, or by a title term unique to that model. Full details are on About our pricing.
