“The 55 diesel was the biggest bruiser in the Massey line, best I ever pulled a load with. Built for hauling across the plains, no question.”

About this model

1:16 die-cast metal replica
Original 1992 National Farm Toy Show release
Made by Ertl for Toy Farmer

Ertl built this Massey-Harris 55 Diesel in 1:16 scale for the fifteenth National Farm Toy Show, held in Dyersville, Iowa, in 1992. Ertl's certificate letter calls it the Massey-Harris 55 Western and states that 12,200 units were produced. The show version has a diesel engine, an arched wide front end, a black steering wheel and die-cast wheel inserts. It came with a special collector insert in a carton with Toy Farmer graphics.
