Ertl built this Massey Ferguson 590 in 1:16 scale for the third National Farm Toy Show, held in Dyersville, Iowa, on November 7, 1980. It was the fourth special tractor Ertl made for Toy Farmer, based on the European 590 that Massey Ferguson introduced to its dealers in 1976. The show unit is Ertl's stock number 1106 with a silver rollover protection canopy, dual rear tires, large balloon front tires and a rubber muffler. Ertl's certificate letter states that exactly 770 units were produced. Each one is engraved in raised letters on the left side with "National Farm Toy Show, November 7th, 1980, Dyersville, Iowa" and carries a Toy Farmer collector series decal on the same side.
