The John Deere Model B entered production in 1935 as a lighter, more affordable companion to the Model A, two-thirds the size and priced for the farmer who didn't need full A-size power. The unstyled B, built through 1938 before Henry Dreyfuss restyled the line, retains the boxy prewar sheet metal and exposed two-cylinder engine that give it a distinctly utilitarian character. This 2004 Precision Classics 1:16 replica pairs directly with the styled Model B from 1998 to show the same tractor across both eras.
