Ford 7710
Farmer Jerry says
“That blue Ford 7710 was tougher than a boot heel. I don't think I ever saw one break down on me, no matter how hard I worked it.”
About this model
- 1:16 die-cast metal replica
- Original 1983 National Farm Toy Show release
- Made by Ertl for Toy Farmer
Ertl built this Ford 7710 in 1:16 scale as the official tractor of the sixth National Farm Toy Show, held in Dyersville, Iowa, in November 1983. Ertl made 1,224 of them, and each came with a certificate letter signed by company president Fred Ertl Jr. The show version is easy to tell from the regular 7710. The left side of the engine is engraved "NATIONAL FARM TOY SHOW - Dyersville, Iowa 11/12/83," and the grille carries a "TOY FARMER COLLECTOR SERIES TRACTOR" decal. It also has single rear tires, large front-assist tires, an air cleaner, grey fenders, and a roll bar. Ertl promised never to make this exact version again. It was issued as Toy Farmer Card #6.
