Ertl built this Ford 7710 in 1:16 scale as the National Farm Toy Show's official tractor for 1983. Like every other year's release, it was tied to that November's show in Dyersville, Iowa. It was issued as Toy Farmer Card #6. Production of the Ford 7710 stayed limited to the show run and its mail-order audience, with no reissue since, so today it is a secondary-market piece like the rest of the series.
