This 1:16 die-cast replica of the John Deere 2640 recreates the tractor featured in the 1989 film Field of Dreams, produced by ERTL and TOMY under license from John Deere. The special edition carries a Field of Dreams logo on the tractor body and includes a companion baseball, referencing the film's Dyersville, Iowa cornfield setting where Major League Baseball has played games in 2021, 2022, and 2026. Unlike ERTL's original 1990 Field of Dreams special edition (stock #516DA), now a retired secondary-market collectible, this reissue remains in active retail production.
