This 1:16 die-cast replica of the John Deere 2640 was ERTL's original 1990 special edition commemorating the tractor featured in the film Field of Dreams, produced the same year the movie premiered. The tractor carries "Field of Dreams Dyersville Iowa 1990 Special Edition" cast directly into its side, rather than printed as a decal, and it shipped without the baseball accessory later added to the modern reissue. Production ended decades ago, and the model now trades solely on the secondary market.
