For 1999, Ertl chose the International 660 as the National Farm Toy Show's official 1:64 scale release. Like every other year's release, it was tied to that November's show in Dyersville, Iowa. The International 660 was never a general retail item, only available through the show and Toy Farmer's mail order, and has stayed out of production ever since, keeping it firmly in secondary-market territory today.
