For 2018, Ertl chose the IH 886 w/cab as the National Farm Toy Show's official 1:16 scale release. It carries on the show's tradition of a new tractor release each November in Dyersville, Iowa. It originally sold for $127.00 through Toy Farmer's direct order form. No general retail run followed for the IH 886 w/cab; it sold only at the show and through Toy Farmer's mail order, and that limited run is what collectors chase today.
