Farmer Jerry says

“The 8260 felt modern to me back in '97, real comfort and slick styling for the yard. New Holland got that one right.”

About this model

1:16 die-cast metal replica
Original 1997 National Farm Toy Show release
Made by Ertl for Toy Farmer

Ertl built this New Holland 8260 diesel tractor in 1:16 scale for Toy Farmer Ltd. to mark the twentieth National Farm Toy Show in Dyersville, Iowa. It was the twenty-first tractor Ertl made for Toy Farmer. Ertl produced exactly 6,500 units, and each came with a certificate of authenticity dated November 1, 1997, signed by Toy Farmer president Claire D. Scheibe. The model used all-new tooling and has an opening hood, a detailed engine, four-wheel drive with fenders, and a die-cast collector insert. A collector medallion was packed with every unit. Ertl pledged never to make this exact model with the special insert again.
