Ertl built this Farmall 300 in 1:43 scale as the National Farm Toy Show's official tractor for 1984. Every November since 1978 the show has brought a new tractor to Dyersville, Iowa, and this was that year's entry. Start of 1:43 NFTS series. Production of the Farmall 300 stayed limited to the show run and its mail-order audience, with no reissue since, so today it is a secondary-market piece like the rest of the series.
