This 1:16 scale Case 500 was Ertl's official National Farm Toy Show release for 1985. It is one of the annual releases in the show's tractor series held each November in Dyersville, Iowa. No general retail run followed for the Case 500; it sold only at the show and through Toy Farmer's mail order, and that limited run is what collectors chase today.
