Ertl produced this 1:16 scale Allis-Chalmers 7080 as the official National Farm Toy Show exclusive for 1979. It carries on the show's tradition of a new tractor release each November in Dyersville, Iowa. As with the rest of the series, production of the Allis-Chalmers 7080 was limited to the show and its mail-order audience, and it has not been reissued since, so it now trades almost entirely on the secondary market.
